Had a good breakfast this morning. Finished washing and packed up again. Called home. No one seemed to concerned about us and the tornadoes. Gave us encouragement. The son of Dad's co-worker who is on the trail was in Franklin on April 1 and was having trouble doing 10 miles a day. Said he was with lots of people each night at the shelters - 10 one night. I guess we'll make it. Just have to get over these problems. Rick's Achilles tendon is still swollen. My knee bothered me all last night.
Went shopping for food and canteens. Looked for a new pack for Rick. No luck. Checked into Wood's Motel tonight. Super nice. Color TV [!].
