This is getting ridiculous. I had another rough night with my throat. Poor sleep, and it's been worse than ever today. Staying one more night for rest. I hope.
Met another hiker who is staying with Rick at the old mill. From San Diego and isn't really hiking the trail. Just hitching around the country. I sat around in the drug store all afternoon working on a big puzzle they had there. Helped take my mind off my throat. Having a hard time swallowing. Not eating much. Had two hotcakes this morning and a hamburger tonight with a pint of sherbert, a candy bar and a couple of small cokes in between.
It was a really beautiful day today. As clear as I have ever seen it. Even distant mountains looked as clear as if they were as close as the trees in town. Too bad we are just sitting here.
